SJVN is looking for energetic professionals to join as Jr. Officer (Trainee) in the following areas for its projects in Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand:

Discipline: Company Secretarial

Qualification: Intermediate Examination from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (Simple Pass)
Age: 30 years as on closing date.

Discipline: Human Resources
No. of Posts: 04 posts
Qualification: Graduate with one / two year full time Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Personnel Management / Social Work / Labor Welfare / Business Management / Office Management / Public Administration with 55% marks for Gen / OBC and 50% for SC / ST / PWD candidates.
Age: 30 years as on closing date.

Discipline: Official Language

Qualification: Master's Degree of a recognized University in Hindi with 55% marks for GEN / OBC and 50% marks for SC / ST / PWD with English as a main subject at the Bachelor's Degree level. Desirable- Diploma in Hindi Translation.
Age: 30 years as on closing date.

Pay: The selected candidates will be paid consolidated Stipend consisting of Basic Pay of Rs 7300 / - plus Dearness Allowance (Basic Pay + Dearness Pay on) as applicable in the first quarter of the year, 2011 per month during the training period of one year. On successful completion of training, they will be placed at S1 level in the Pay Scale of Rs 7300-3.5% -12 660 / - (Due for upward revision from 01/01/2007).

SELECTION PROCESS: The eligible candidates will be required to undergo a Written Test at Shimla. The test will be in two parts, Part-I will Consist of multiple-choice questions of the relevant discipline and Part-II will Consist of multiple-choice questions on Aptitude Test, except for Official Language, the Test For Which will include both Objectives and Descriptive type questions.

Note: Only candidates domiciled of Uttrakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir and Chandigarh are eligible to apply. Candidates must enclose their Domicile Certificate along with their application.

Application Fee: A Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- (SC/ST and PWD exempted) drawn in favor of SJVN Limited payable at Shimla.
